by on June 3, 2013

Ars Technica took a high-level look at the new Haswell chips Intel announced on Friday in their Core i7 and Core i5 product families.

Oracle is changing certain security features in Java, including preventing unsigned applets from being executed by default and adding centralized management for enterprises.

Following last week’s announcement by Blue Coat of its acquisition of Solera Networks, Blue Coat said Friday that the deal has closed, and Solera products and personnel are being integrated into the Blue Coat team.
